What type of injuries can occur during a simple day hike? What first aid should be in your backpack? Experienced hiker, nurse and future Rocky Corner resident, Marni Gair, will talk about the most common hazards while hiking. She will demonstrate some basic first aid. What do you do if you sprain an ankle? How can you avoid ticks and poison ivy? Do you have knowledge to share, too? This educational session will be followed by a hike together from Rocky Corner to Lake Chamberlain. Meet at the Rocky Corner common house at 3:30pm. Wear a mask.
